This outstanding pendant is made with an agate drusy cabochon that just takes my breath away. The beautiful coloring emphasizes the crystal center by providing dramatic contrast between the crystal and the black banding around it. When I first wrapped this pendant, I did not include the bee. I thought it turned out just OK. It just sat there, looking so quiet, so serious. The imperial jasper looking quite regal and austere. I had to break up the silence and give it some joy. So I gave it a honey bee; just a touch of whimsy to brighten up the day. It is now a happy piece to wear with so much more personality and spunk. This interesting pendant is made of dicroic glass and Art Clay Silver. I actually made this one in my certification classes for instructor-level one in silver metal clay. I plan on trying fusing more glass with metal in the future but for right now, I am concentrating on bezel setting stones and hand made bails.

This pendant is made with a free form cab of Chrysocolla. The coloring is just gorgeous. Bright blues and rich greens come together in this cabochon. I tried to give the impression of unfolding leaves with the wire setting. Made with sterling silver and placed on a leather cord, this pendant is full of refined potential, as if a new beginning is just about to start. This pendant is a result of a blend of sterling silver and 14 K gold filled wire. This pendant is made with a gorgeous natural agate drusy cabochon. The way I design is according to the lines and shape of the cab. The asymmetry of the crystal drusy begged to be put in balance so, of course, I had to add my signature swirl. The photograph just doesn't capture how beautiful the sparkle of the drusy is. Here is a new way of wrapping an Ammonite fossil, a swirl within the coil. I was trying to emphasize the beautiful natural design of the shell and this wrap emerged. The back is almost as interesting as the front, they both have large swirls holding the bail to the fossil. The pendant measures 2 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom and is 1 5/8 inches wide.

I am just having too much fun. This pendant is a cab of Imperial Jasper from Mexico with a sterling tree frog wrapped to the bezel. I have had such good response from people who emailed me about the lizard pendant (thanks everybody) that I continued the theme of binding a critter on another pendant. This beautiful cab of Sunset jasper has been hand wrapped in sterling silver. It has my signature swirl wire wrap. I carefully chose the bead for the bail so it compliments the whole piece. This stone originated from Singer Island, Florida. The smooth edges and little round holes have been drilled into the stone by the sand as it was pounded in the surf. These stones were hard to find but I was on a constant search for them the whole time I was there. While on Singer Island this summer, I picked up as much sea glass as I could. I love the symbolism that sea glass holds for me. Sea glass starts out as a piece of garbage someone threw away. It is broken and lost out to sea. But through the forces of nature that God put in place, it is molded and reshaped through the tide and waves. Then it is found again and valued as treasure. This summer I had the privilege of staying on Singer Island, near Palm Beach for vacation. The ocean there is that incredible turquoise blue and is teaming with life. It also holds a treasure for me that most people just walk right by. If you search diligently, you can find these amazing little rocks among the shells. They have tiny holes drilled in them from being tumbled in the surf. These holes give me such fun in wiring because I try to make the wire look like the waves that formed them....

Every once in a while I come across some very unusual cabochons that I just have to have. This cab is a Septarian Nodule from Utah that has such striking colors and unique shape that I had to snatch it up. This is an unusual pendant made of brown tigereye on the bottom and African Moss Opal on the top and reminds me of my Japanese Tetsubin teapot. The two were wrapped together by hand with a markesite "collar bead" in the center to strengthen the connection. This necklace sure does catch people's eye. This pendant is the first of a new technique that I am currently developing, the double decker wire wrapped pendant. This pendant is made of a small Sunstone cabochon. What it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in brilliance. The color is spectacular. When the light hits the stone just right, it lights up with the most incredibly beautiful golden orange. I set the stone horizontally with a criss cross weave at the top.
